Question to Impulse QF crew
Guys congratulaions on your new EBA, finally progression from the 717.
Can someone tell me if you progress to Short haul main line, do you keep your seniority like eastern crew ? and when QF took over Impulse did you retain your original seniority ?
Thank you 1000 x in advance for your time.

Don't count your (our) chickens......
The ballots close today so nothing is definate.
If the EBA is voted in then we shall see the first Impulse FAs in a SH gorund school by year's end (if SH are recruiting...). I was very surprised at the numbers being quoted that would progress across. Much higher than what I thought.
I have also been surprised at the number of crew that say progression isn't for them. I am going to put my name on the list (as all good FAs do!) but as I am so senior (at the age of 22!) I will probably let it lapse and wait until the next time it comes up. A lot of us are enjoying the 717 network.
We do keep our seniority if we progress. But I do not know whether it is our Air Crews Control start date, Impulse (employed directly) start date or the QF purchase of Impulse date (21 Nov 2001) that we will take over. The start date on my ASIC is my original Air Crews start date. So who knows?
This whole progression thing has cheered everyone up though. It was just another thing that separated us from everyone else. Thanks PP for your kind comments - we have all worked *very* hard to make the 717 operation work. Our own company (and QF too) are finally recognising the efforts of their quality workforce.
