Previous Lives
Completed first part of Medical degree (with a 1st!) then got bored with hospitals and went on to be a barrister. Finally admitted passion for aviation and chucked mega salary to be CC. Saw and observed, for several years, and decided it was for me. Now in the last stages of ATPL.
Interesting thing.. When I was Cabin Crew (and also when working in an offie while waiting for that job) it was assumed I would be stuck-up, snobbish, too-good-for-the-rest etc etc etc They couldn't have been more wrong. But it made life tough. Specially as CC.
Anyone else had the same kind of problem?
I will certainly NEVER make any assumptions about CC or their backgrounds! They are the most mixed and interesting bunch I've ever met!

Wellll here goes,
Saturday job in hairdressers, sales assistant in pie shop, general nursing, tele-sales , cabin crew 9 years , with bit of nursing now and again, theatre nurse, cabin crew, call cente worst job of my life, nurs... actually changed my mind through refresher course, restaurant manager, ground staff with BA, sales consultant cosmetics, sales manager cosmetics, oh and yes back to cabin crew took me a while but realise its what I enjoy the most(hard work, long days etc, but great fun)
And almost finished open uni degree in psychology - just for interest - you definately dont need a degree for cabin crew, but it wont do you any harm to get one.

Out of University, went to work as a trainee at the Comercial departement of a large(st) Hotel in Copenhagen...
My degree was helpefull to get the job as Cabin crew, but not really necessary....what one needs is a "bless of God".
After 1 year started as cabin crew back home, and have been asking pax if they wanted more ICE with it for 12 years now!!
Would not change jobs for nothing

Started my dream job as Cabin Crew for low fare airline and now working for charter airline, and I love it!!! It REALLY is the BEST job in the world!

Left school on the Friday, turned 19 on the Saturday, started training for Britannia on the Monday. Seriously! People always laugh when they ask what I did before I flew and I say ''I was at school!''
