An SLF asks ...

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this question, but I'm not sure if many of you visit the SLF area.

Just booked a flight on an AA 777 to JFK. The web gives you the chance to select your seat from a cabin layout. The bulk of cattle class is 2-5-2, but at the back the diagram shows it dropping to 2-2-2-2. This may be down to limitations of the web page showing what it's really like - I suspect may be 2-4-2 where the hull narrows.

I'm just trying to get a picture in my mind (not flown AA before) so I can get a comfy seat. Also, the layout shows an exit row with bookable centre seats. Is there more leg room there?

Thanks in advance.
