Good and bad things about being cabin crew

Good:
1. You get a nice uniform and a funky nametag and wings. I love walking around in my uniform in public with my roller board gliding behind me. (ok I'm a very sad woman! )
2. All the perks.
3. Most of the other crew. (you will always find a miserable, moody stew every now and again)
4. Friendly pax.
5. The variety of the job.
6. No work to take home with you!
7. Layovers in great hotels.
8. Lots of time off.
9. Being able to say 'I'm a flight attendant'

Bad:
1. Pay isn't always that great. (depending on airline and seniority)
2. Early morning and night flights.
3. Grumpy pax and pax who see me as a 'flying waitress'
4. Health risks.
5. Threat of the plane crashing/being hijacked/air rage.
