So you're really enjoying at BY!! Do you have to go through training again if you get invited back? Do they invite you back if they like you or do have to apply again?
BTW I'm not really into getting a PPL but i know someone who is!

Hi Ana,
my interview was on Nov. 17th. Today I called a friend I met during the interview, he said he got his positive answer AND the contract all in once, by mail, 2 days ago. He'll start his training on Jan. 29th. Considering that I gave them an address in Switzerland, I might get my answer early next week...
Today I also received an invitation from bmi british midland for short haul. The interview is on Dec. 7th and at this stage I am a bit confused 'coz I don't know if to buy a ticket or not... maybe I should wait for BY's answer first...
I'll keep you posted!

Congratulations all who've got contracts with BY already...
Could you shed any light upon the interviews you had? The kind of questions they asked and so on?
My assessment is coming up soon, any tips would be appreciated!

I'm starting on Jan 8 too! Will be based at Gatwick and I haven't found anywhere to live just yet! Not sure whether to wait until training. I have a place in London I can stay at for a while before I find something closer!

This is for Ana: I wanted to let you know I received my rejection letter today... (had my interview on Nov. 17th... could have replied a bit earlier!!...). I'm not too disappointed 'cause I've heaps of other interviews going on at the moment. Just had bmi last Saturday and booked GB Airways for early January. Maybe we'll catch up at the pub instead of the training centre!

Well done every1 whos been contracted to BY. Iv got my interview with BY on the 4th Jan. How many people normaly turn up to these recruitment days? I really hope I get the Job it sounds a really good airline to work for. If I get the job I will be based at Gatwick. Im only just 18 I hope that doesnt effect my chances. Iv been revising like hell on their history incase a question is fired at me on the day. OH...also does anyone know roughly how many people they are employing?
