Cabin Crew - Getting that first job

My nineteen year old granddaughter (in Oz) has graduated from her tertiary studies in Aviation (Cabin Crew), gaining an Excellence certificate and letter of recommendation from her instructor. Now currently looking for airline work but many have a requirement for a minimum of 2 or 3 years experience. Something of a Catch 22 situation.

My aviation experience was strictly mil air so know nothing about the cabin crew industry. Some (friendly) pointers would be welcomed as to how best for her to proceed. Thanks.
