For a no-frills start-up airline ... ?
Hello Guys.
I'm gonna post this in a few areas to get general opinion, but, from a cabin crew point of view, what would you say is a favourable aircraft for a no-frills start-up?
buzz used the 146
easyJet used the 737-200
GO/bmibaby used the 737-300
jetBlue used the A320
From your point of view, what is a favourable type and why?

I have flown on all those aircraft types, not always as Low Cost airline.
The best aircraft I would say is the Airbus 320/319 as it is roomy, wide ailes and good galleys to work, modern aircraft.
The 737-200 is noisy and old. 737-300 are cheap to get hold of as they are getting on a bit now. Not as roomy as the Airbus.
The 146 I did work on for a low cost, and it isn`t really designed for that type of work. Its expensive to operate, galleys small and domestic water system poor. Its cabin can take 3+3 seating but due to the cabin sidewalls the paxs next to the window can find it a tight squeeze, hence some US carriers only offered 5 a-brest seating. APU is very noisy and difficult to hear anything else in back cabin. Overhead lockers where wing is, are useless as the lockers become narrower at this point.
