A340-600 into Service
I have heard that it will be on LHR - JFK on Tuesday, 30th July 2002. (Initially though it was supposed to be 1st August, same route.......)
The aeroplane is also expected at PIK this weekend on training flights, according to sources at PIK.

The first of eight A340-600's (G-VSHY-Claudia Nine) is now in full service at VS.
She is operating to JFK most days at the moment although I believe she will operate her first EWR at the weekend.
Have recently completed my conversion on it and its big!! Nice aircraft with plenty of room for the crew to move about despite the extra Pax!!
Not alot different to the A340-300 except the size and a few enhanced safety and security features.
