Job Spec......
Evening to you all. Could someone explain to me, in a serious way if possible, what a Purser does at BA? I stood in a queue at Sainsburys yesterday next to a gorgeous girl who was in full BA kit and had her name badge wth the title "Purser" below it. Is this an aircrew job or a ground based role?

It means they are in charge of the cabin crew on board, unless they're on a long haul aircraft in which case they're in charge of a particular passenger cabin. Probably from a franchise if she was that good looking.
