I had a friend who worked for them.... You do not get a salary but you get paid $X for duties under 4 hours and $Y for duties over 4 hours.... Worked out to about $450-500 per week before tax. Her hours were very stable the whole time she was there. That was 1999-2000 - the conditions may have changed since then. I think they overnite in KNX and GTE now. The inflight service they did was also very nice but that was when they did flight on behalf of AN... Dont know what the deal is now.

Airnorth's website is http://www.airnorth.com.au Call them perhaps and ask for yourself.... Otherwise the FAAA might have some idea. They are very busy but you can still try. 02 9212 0130

I lived in Darwin for 15 years before I started flying in Sydney. darwin is a very lovely place.... Don't know what you'd think of it coming from MEL though!
