I just wanted to quickly thank the cabin staff of this flight who dealt with an extremely difficult family who despite being together for a week, were unable to cope with being separated from each other for just under four hours.
The 'head' of the family was clearly using his build to in an attempt to intimidate people and failed. However, I began to feel very uncomfortable and voiced this to the crew who handled this very well.
Fortunately the situation eventually calmed and we got under way - I guess removing a difficult person from my place of work is a little easier which is why I was out of my comfort zone.
Thanks guys - very well done indeed.

I was on a JMC flight from TFS once and had the same experience. A bolshy and heavyweight father who demanded this that and the other with a young stewardess. Luckily she wasn't having it and, for her young years and small stature, she really knew how to handle difficult people! She earnt a month's pay that night in my opinion.
