Positioning Post Flight

Do any of you get positioned after operating a single sector? If so does this positioning count as part of your Duty Day?

Thanks

Yes, have done 1 sector and pax back. In the UK any positioning after operating should count as duty time, but not flight duty time. And as such should be taken into account for rest periods and next report. This is for both flight deck and cabin crew. Schemes for other countries may well be different. Hope this helps.

Any time spent paxing is counted as duty time, whether its before flight duty or after. This is for flight crew and cabin staff. As Nubboy said, quite correct. Also, any pre-or post flight activity related to the flight (ie paperwork, briefings, debriefings etc) are part of duty time. Hope that helps
