You: The nice lady (purser?) from a large national carrier based in UK.
Me: The biff/f*ckwit who couldn't work out how to get into his room.
Location: A nice hotel in a large city in Southern France.

If you read this, thank you for readily offering assistance when I was clearly struggling to get into my room. A nice, friendly voice and a willingness to help was really appreciated - I only wish I could have reciprocated, but you were clearly on your way to checkout before crewing in - I didn't even get to ask you your name!
