I think what PTH means, in his own inimitable way, is that this is old news. Way old. Whatever your search problems are, you could just go to, like, the New York Times...

One day, someone will produce a forum program, with a search engine tuned to new posts, that immediately finds the subject that has been posted 14 times previously, and which promptly warns the new thread starter...

I typed in "france hostess" and the previous thread on the subject came up 2nd, in the search results....
