Uniform appearance question

Hi

This is my first post as I've just started working with Ryanair at the start of January, and so far I'm really enjoying the job (apart from the early starts!)

The one thing that I'm not so happy with is the uniform though, and I'm worried that I'm going to get told off for falling below the standards of appearance expected. Basically, my skirt looks a right mess as soon as I've sat down because it creases so badly, no matter how much I iron it, and the blouse keeps coming untucked.

Just wondered whether anybody else had these problems. I don't want to get into trouble!

Thank you

Well, congratulations on getting the job...

As for the uniform, sadly you'll have to get used to it... And give it 2 months, it won't have the color it has now, it will wash off.
Careful with the buttons, they'll come off shortly.
And if after 1 year you need a new uniform, good luck with that, i asked for an apron six months ago and still don't have one...

The job is good (overall), and I'm glad you enjoy it; i didn't mean to put you off, you asked so i thought you'd like to know the truth.

Also, if any No.1 wants to give you a grooming discrepancy, tell him/her what you wrote here. I doubt anyone would say anything, just have a close look at some uniforms the girls who'd been in the company for a fair long amount of time.... you'll see what i mean

Rgds,

Nobody's said anything yet - I wanted to pre-empt my telling off. I just wondered whether everybody's skirt creases the same or whether I need another size. I haven't inspected closely, but nobody else's looks too bad.

I don't work for ryanair, but my cabin crew uniform also creases badly when i sit down. Nothing you can do about that, especially if you have a long drive to work. Sometimes I wonder why I even both ironing it!! Also my shirt comes untucked all the time too. I've only got to open or close an overhead stowage and it comes out. They're not made for crew comfort I don't think. You'll just have to keep tucking it back in every time it comes out!!
