Oh Dear!

Well our Anne has already got the crew in uproar @ Thomson. Apparently shes introduced the new uniform by making all Cabin Crew wear Biege Trousers and skirts from May09. This will proberbly be her one and only contribution to the company and then she will be paid off to leave! Just like Lady Palmer who introduced the smoking Ban. Happy days @ Thomson what ever we are called next.

Does anyone know the outcome of the case or is it still ongoing?

If you know anyone being harassed, or are being harassed yourself, then you should report it to the police as it's a crime to "cause fear, harm or distress".

If it's the first instance then it won't be a full crime & they should be issued a warning letter that if they continue with their course of conduct then they will then be guilty of the full offence and prosecuted. If it's a report of an ongoing campaign and you have evidence to support the allegations of it being more than a one-off then it will go striaght to full offence scenario straight away.

cheers
FF

Airbusguy, I strongly recommend you report the woman as harrassing your colleague. There must be channels at Thomson that guarantee anonymity where necessary.

Harrassment, regardless of type, is not acceptable in a workplace.

I believe that although the tribunal found that there was a case to answer, it was down to the individuals concerned & was not corporate, so the case was lost.
ie the person was guilty of bullying, but the employer (BA) was not.
I expect there will be appeals, etc.

Correct in short the case was lost against BA on a technicality.
