Sorry for being a bit to the point and I apologise If I ve posted this on the wrong forum but Im taking my girlfriend to the Caribbean for her 21 birthday flying with Britannia from LGW . Does anyone have any info/tips on getting free upgrades ? It would really make the trip for her/us. Thanks

check and see if the flight is overbooked and ask at the service desk (which is next to the check in desks and u never know, if that fails then pretend that u r going to the funeral of your mum or dad and act accordingly, if that fails find out which hotel the crew stay at and get your misses to pay the captain a visit..........

There really is not a lot of difference between the premium Britannia service and the standard economy service. On the Boeing 767 you'll be going to the Caribbean on, there are only 3 rows of slightly wider seats at the front of the cabin.
If you were on an Airtours A330 on the other hand.....

Back from hols . . . .
Pilot training on the way out but got to go to the Flight Deck on the way back.Girlfriend too tired to visit.
Thanks anyway for the help and to any of the crew who may read this.Job well done and I don`t envy any of you when some little kid starts giving you hell or some guy starts complaining about the food.
