Thumbs down

legal - yes
moral - n o

i believe that up to 24 hours you are not considered 'acclimatised ' to local time therefore it is ok

all of you do one, then go 'fdatigued' for your next duty - iaa would be interested then
is that 14.50 non stop or with tech stop ?

Its direct with a A330(200)the duty time is 14.00 hours (sorry not 14.50)Its all legal it just that no other airline i known of would have a 24hrs stop after a duty time of that length and then fly home again .
Thanks again

Thanks for that,we get a litte extra$$ not a lot compared to the guys up front who agreed to do it for a lot of$$$$$$$$ plus they are getting 2 bunks we get 6 pax seats with a curtain, beside a toilet, beside AFT galley ,next to every nosey pax and with 5 crew on break at a time ,(can get quite cossy!!)we get 4 day off after to recover you need it .I have alredy done it with the 2 or 3 day turn around and found it tough do not want to even try 24hrs .

Wink

Airpoint,

Hmmmm, 2 bunks, eh? And if its 3 up front, must only be 1 of them in the bunk at any time. Sounds very cosy!

Seroiusly, since my last post, I've been told that Virgin have stopped the 1 day turnaround in LAX. Higly unpopular what with their very young age profile and all that.

Good luck
