Thumbs up PPRuNe server upgrade

Capt PPRuNe has just signed an agreement to upgrade the current server (Dual PIII 550MHz, 512Mb RAM, dual 9Gb SCSI RAID) to a Dual PIII 800MHz, 1Gb RAM, dual 18Gb SCSI RAID (10,000rpm). Change over should occur around beginning April. It will probably mean PPRune being off-air for a day or two but the new higher powered server should put a stop to the recent server crashes we have been experiencing at peak times.. . . . [ 15 March 2002, 19:02: Message edited by: Xenia ]
