SNOW IN MXP

Today 30 cm.of snow in MXP.
Hundreds of flight cancelled, till 15 hours of delay for few "lucky" planes which managed to take -off
Help me to get mad:
What going on in the "civil world" when it does snow?

Snow in MXP on X-mas day.... Lucky you siriaa!!! It never happened to me!!
What happens in MXP when it snows....ehmmm...try to think what could possibly happen in FCO in such a case
