Snoop Practical Css

Hi everybody, a good friend of mine is looking to get her practical CSS...
She had already the theory done and she flies since 2003 as C\A in Italy.
Does Anybody know a school she can enroll to do the practical corse?
Location is not a problem, France, Switzerland... doesn't matter...
Thanks you all and Happy Landings
Mario.

Is that the French CSS you are talking about? (Having a doubt since you mention Switzerland)
If it's the case, the Croix Rouge school has a very good reputation (but there are others).

I have personally never heard of any CSS school in Switzerland. Even if there were, you'd have to go to France for the examination. What are exactly your friend's requirements? Is there any special reason why she'd want to go to Switzerland?

CiaoFlyblue,
No special reasons a t all: Switzeland came in trough just as an other location to obtain the CSS but looks like the info we've got were not true...
She has no problem at all to go to France for the practice, she loves France very much... So now the real point is if anyboby knows a solid school in France or if more or less the level is pretty much good nation-wide...
She was surfing the net looking for school but she didn't have any interesting feedbacks from anyone of them... She really wants to enroll in a good one and that's why she's asking for advices...
One last thins, she's 36 but I don't think that age is a problem, isn't it? Beside she's a Cabin Attendant since 4 plus years now so...
Thanks again for all you help, take care
Mario.

mgheda,

first of all, if your friend doesn't know this link already, make sure she reads it:
http://www.aviation-civile.gouv.fr/h...e/exam/css.htm

The following are two excellent schools (one of which is used by AF):

-Croix Rouge Française, Centre de Formation Aéronautique, 72 Rue de l'Eglise, 75015 PARIS Tel: +33 (0) 1 44 43 13 25
http://cdfp13.croix-rouge.fr/pages/css.html

-Institut Supérieur de Formation Aéronautique (ISFA), Tour Europa 113, Centre Commercial Belle Epine, 94532 THIAIS CEDEX Tel +33(0)1 46 87 67 00

Your friend's age might be a problem for some schools. Even if there is no age limit to be a CC in France, and AF and other airlines have no recruitment age limit, some schools have a 30yo age limit. What she can do is call and find out which ones accept 36+.

This link to a list of schools.
