Morning,

I work for Rex as a flight attendant, have for 2 years now. I actually really enjoy flying, the crews are fantastic, we all get along very well. The pax are absolutley lovely and I have never had any troubles, they are all lovely country folk, farmers or business men travelling from main cities out to speak to the country folk.
If you are looking for a well paid job, I wouldn't recommend rex. Unfortunately our wages are very low, considering we are solo flight attendants, the responsibility is huge.
We do overnight, probably 6 nights a roster, which is good as that is where you can earn your DTA.
I suppose like all the airlines now, since we have been floated on the share market, we have to make every dollar count to the share holders and unfortunately it is starting to show on the staff, as we are getting screwed for every dollar, right down to how many times we use the vacuum cleaner!
In general if you want a good start to a flying career, rex is great, as soon as the little old saab door closes and you are put putting through the air, but if you are looking for a nice stable 5-10 year job I would suggest applying to another airline.

Hope this helps.
