Air hostesses told to shed weight

I used to work for an airline here in Australia (and the description of the uniform will give that away!) and when we went to try on the uniforms they trainers kindly told us that the pilots had their own special ruling for the printed silk dresses - any more than 3 boomerangs across the butt you've got NO business wearing it!!!!!
Despite the knowledge that I am slim, I still had to check in the mirror!!!!!


I don't have an issue with bigger fa's - I've been a lot bigger myself before (I'm an office worker we sit, we eat, we catch the bus home we eat we sleep we repeat) - as long as they're doing the job I'm not fussed.

I did sometimes worry about our pilots ability to squeeze themselves out of the fd exits though!!!!

as long as crew can walk dwn the aisle, and perform all of their duties safely, there should be no problem. Crew arent their for viewing pleasures...(although it does enhance the flight ) theres plenty other places for that.

Anyway hoo...having said that...slightly off topic..how come's Gulf Air doesn't recruit male cabin crew? its on their site.....
