Virgin Pacific Fact or Fiction???
Hi there,
I heard a rumour about a new long haul airline to be set up in Australia. I know Virgin Blue has been thinking about starting long haul for a while, but just wondering if anyone has heard anything else. Apparently it is going to be based on a combination of Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Blue.
I'm Aussie, but crew for Virgin Atlantic based out of LHR, so am very much removed from the news in Australia. Would love to be able to come home one day....
Happy flying!

Correct, although name/destinations not yet announced. Unlikely to have Virgin in the name unless Singapore Airlines release their restriction on the use of the Virgin brand internationally (SIA are 49% owners of Virgin Atlantic). B777-300ERs, config not yet announced but rumoured to be 3 class. Expressions of interest being accepted via Virgin Blue website.
