I go away and you have a baby!

What a gorgeous, gorgeous little man! He is beautiful! HUGE congratulations to you both. Make sure you enjoy him being tiny! Take him flying whilst he is tiny, it's much easier.

hahaha lexxity Thank you so much!!!! these things always happen when you least expect them.... I was so convinced he was NOT going to be born on his due date that, after 3 weeks of eating light etc I had a huge burger just a few hours before giving birth
And mr FBW was supposed to get up at 4am that morning for a double, something short like MAN-DUB but thank god he didn't go or he would have missed it!!!!
I'll definitely take him flying as soon as his passport is ready...it will be interesting to see what parents have to put up with to fly with my airline!!!!

So you're not the one who's partner should have been operating a LGW/MAN then?

Attitudes to infants varies enormously within my airline I have found. So far I have found L/H crew to be the most friendly and willing to assist. Enjoy flying with him.

Congratulations FBW. Welcome to the real world!

I would invest in shares in Calpol now!!

As I told my brother at his wedding last year: having a baby makes you no more a parent than buying a grand piano makes you a concert pianist!

Best wishes & good luck!!

FBW, I hope little "FP" is sleeping well. If not, I have a suggestion which we only learned with our second child, via the midwife.

Don't put FP down in the cot/moses basket AFTER he has fallen asleep in your arms etc. Do it just before.
