Hi guys,

Had my interview this morning (tuesday) after rescheduling from yesterday.

Things got off to a funny start, as they didn't not have a record of me being down for today! When I explained I had to put my assessment day back by a day everything was fine and it turned out that someone in admin had forgot to include me on the sheet! -panic over.

It was a fun day, and the interviewers said I would hear by next monday.

scared!

P.S I seen in another forum that someone (who was at yesterdays interview) got a telephone call to say she got the job....so maybe I've failed.

Don't worry Jamesfly, I'm sure you'll be fine. I think the way they contact people varies; a friend of mine had an interview on the Monday and they rang her on the Tuesday morning - much to her delight! However, another friend had to wait over a week before the big envelope plopped through her door!! So remain positive - remember - PMA!!!

Hi Chrissy,
I was exactly the same as you....besides the juggling....lol! Kept playing questions over in my head and getting memory freezes, i think its just nerves that make you panic. The 2:1 isnt until the afternoon at the interview so the crew do everything they can to try and calm you down before u go into that!
You wil be fine, try not to over prepare, it will only freak you out hehe!
Just be yourself and smile, and if in your interview you do get a memory block for a while its not the end of the world (I did in the one other interview i went to and still got the job!)
Good luck hun - its nowhere near as bad as u think its going to be (trust me i know! hehe!)

Hiya Chrissy,

Jade's right, you'll be so distracted by everything going on in the morning, that you'll be surprisingly calm My 2:1 was about 4/5 hours after our assessment day started, and I was so TIRED being nervous by then lol that it just stopped.

I always have a memory block before the actual event - when I thought of the questions, I would totally panic and think oh god how would I answer that. But it must be the adrenaline or something, cos when you actually get in that room, I bet the words just pour out of you, it's like your mind suddenly clears!! Just try and not gibber like I did, lol! Still managed to get it tho!

Best of luck for Monday, we'll all be thinking of you!!

what do you think the answer is

If a flight is meant to be departing at 11am and is delayed for 3 hours, the crew need to be there 2 hours before take off, what time should the crew be there for.

what do you guys think it's either 9am or 12midday, is this a a type of trick question that they might put in the tests

thanks

depends how virgin work doesnt it. i know some airlines if a flight is delayed you have to wait at the airport, but at other airlines if your flight is delayed you can wait at home.

can only suppose this is one of the questions at the interview...so i would say midday, not knowing virgins SOPs.

Hi Everyone, xx

After hours and hours of searching on the net, i have finally found the virgin atlantic uniform They have the current uniforms and also show all the previous uniforms dating back to the 80s (ooohhhh i love the 80s )

the website is www.uniformfreak.com just click on anyone of the icons then search the uniforms, they basically have every airline you can think of on there.

happy searching xx
