Congrats!

Congratulations Johnezy!!! Thank you for the advise... I had my interview on friday morning... I think it went ok, the only thing I'm scared about is that at the end of the 2:1 interview the VS person asked me if I would apply for Virgin again... They also told me they have 2 trainings starting in march, one on the 19th and anothe one on th 23rd.... GOOD LUCK!

Don't worry GTCrew, they asked me if I'd re-apply too and I got the job. Check you're private messages.

im panicing now. I assume a "letter" means i aint got the job! Is this definate do ya think, would they actually tell me over the phone if i had the job or a contract was sent out?!

Can anyone tell me what the waitlist is like for VA to be based at Man?
I used to work with a girl who went to VA at London bases and was only there 9 months before being offered MAN then someone else said they waited 7 years!!! and do they ever recruit directly for MAN?
Also anyone who may commute from Yorkshire who can give me advice this would be very much appreciated!
Many Thanks

?

Well I had my interview yesterday, really enjoyed the day!
Just as I left my 2-2-1 interview I am sure that Rob the interviewer said I would hear via e-mail?! Think this was a mistake on my part! Think that I was just so releived to have got this far I had kind of miss heard! Oops!

So know it's just the waiting, which I know will drive me mad

Hi Spacehopper

No, Virgin don't recruit for the MAN base, it's purely transfer. You can put your name on the transfer list after you have completed your probation (six months), and then it's on a first come, first served basis, ie the order people put their name on the list. I put my name on the list four months ago, and I'm still a long way from the top. I checked about a month ago, and there's lots after me too. Apparently, by the time you get the call, some on the list have left or changed their mind etc.

As for commuting, it's exhausting PM me if you want any more info.

Assessment on the 26th Feb......getting scared! Anyone else?

Hi all,

Have my assessment day on the 26th Feb....and it is getting close!

Is there anyone else going on this day?

I was speaking with a few VS crew who were commuting up to GLA/NCL last week and they had some good tips about this so called "Virgin Flair"

I'm still scared!

P.s Congrats Jenn
