Recruiting
Hi all
This is my first post on here. I was wondering if anyone could help?????
I have previously flown for 10 years as cabin crew, but have been on the ground now for 2 years in a 9 to 5 job which is driving me mad..........
The industry has changed so much in the past 2 years, so can anyone recomend who to apply to. As I am needing to get back in the air........ Before I go mad
Many thanks everyone.......

Loads of airlines are recruiting at the mo, I take it you'd rather be senior crew? Silverjet are recruiting service co-ordinators and Cabin Managers for LTN and Zoom are recruiting senior cabin crew (2 years exp) and CCM (4 years) for LGW. bmi baby recruits direct CM's, they seem to be expanding at BHX. bmi recruits flight supervisers. easyJet is recruiting SCCM at LGW and a few other bases at the mo. With your experience I'm sure you'll be fine
Good Luck!

Don't you have to have flown at at least 1 year in the preceeding 12 months to be able to be recruited as a direct entry senior?
If you have been out of flying for 2 years I think you would have to start again as a junior and then apply once you have completed the minimum time that your chosen airline specifies.
And Virginia, whilst easyJet LGW is recruiting SCCMs at the moment, we are not taking direct entry SCCM's. We did for a while last year but not at this time. If you were to apply to easyJet (LGW) and were successful, you would have to complete a specific period of time as a junior before applying to be senior.

hey primus
How are you? Are you interested in working oversees? While Emirates (in Dubai) have a Global Assessment Day in Manchester on 16th Jan but since this is usually by invitation only,i suppose those shortlisted have already received their invitation letters by now.
But then again, they have an Open Day in Glasgow on 27th Jan which is basically open,ie anyone can attend.
Check out their website and decide if interested.
