ALLOWANCES before/during/after training

I am curious as to what may happen in your company.

In my company, whilst on the g/s, we receive a training wage as well a payment for living expenses if we are away from home. If the g/s is in your home port, then you receive the training wage only.

After completing the school, whilst line training, we receive the training wage and if we are overnighting then the same payment for living expenses (which is about half the o/nite allowance) per night.

We only receive the full overnight allowance once checked to line.

My question is relating ONLY to the payment of the overnight allowance, I don't wish to debate the pros v cons of receiving anything else.

Do any other companies pay a portion of, not the whole overnight claim until a successful CTL, whilst you are line training?

PM's gladly received if you would prefer.
