I read you need to be a Thai national..

yes definitely have to be a Thai National - but apparently even if you are I have heard from Thai friends and acquaintences that it's not easy to get into TG cabin crew.

even for other airlines who have a BKK base, I also heard somewhere that by Thai law - Thai based Cabin Crew must be Thai Nationals.

they do recruit from korea and japan,these are the only non thai cabin crew in TG.
