Thanks galanjal for reminding us.
surely some recognition on this site for the people that died a year ago today
Your use of the word "surely" implies that you feel that there should, by right, be some recognition on this site. On the assumption that you are referring to the London bombings (Other people in other countries were also murdered that day) then it is worth noting that:
  • There has been extensive coverage all day on the subject, in all forms of media.
  • The London Bombings do not directly relate to aviation (the raison d'etre of these forums)
  • If you wish to recognise the event in some way, there are myriad opportunities, not only on the web, but in many other formats.
People will wish to recognise and remember in their own way, which may sometimes be private and quiet, and different to your preferred method. Therefore it would be unwise to give advice to others on how best to grieve.
