bmi regional

bmi regional are apparently recruiting for a couple of their bases including EMA.

Does anyone have any info on pay, benefits, training, typical rosters & lifestyle?

Thanks in advance.

I generally sit on the other side of the door @ EMA, but its a small (1aircraft) base. 11 Flightdeck, 12ish cabin crew so we all do the same things. The only scheduled route is to Brussels 1 rotation in the morning (6am report 10:30 finish), and 2 rotations in the afternoon (13:00 - 20;30). Weekends during the summer we also go to Sardinia, Corsica, and Croatia.

I think as yr 1 CC its about £12k plus duty pay of £1.77 (normally about 2.5K per year) and about an additional 2k when you make SCCM. There is a bit of night stopping covering other bases (MAN, LBA, and LHR).

The people on the line in regional are great, but the management (CC especially) is bleedin' awful, the pilots are currently being balloted on industrial action, that how bad its gotten lately.

Hope this helps a bit.

Regards
