Looking for work

Hi all, new to the forum, just curious, currently in The Royal Air Force, working as cabin crew, I have over 3000 hours logged, just wondering if my experience would be acceptable for employment in the Civil Airline world? I thought my age may put employers off (38), I also wear glasses, can this be a problem with some airlines?
Any advice greatly accepted.

More than acceptable I would have thought. Age won't be an issue that the airlines will admit to publicly - privately, some may discriminate: And the glasses should not be an issue.

More of a concern is whether you wish to leave the relative job security of the forces for the rough and tumble of the commercial world? Tough choice...
