easyjet staff travel

hi, my partner is about to start working for easyjet. we understand that after 3 months service staff members can use staff travel and have one other person nominated to use the same. does anyone know if the nominated person has to travel with the staff member or can they travel on their own.

thanks

Hi
I am on my friends ezy staff travel and find it great.Your partner can choose up to 4 people including him to be on the ezy concessions. When you are on his concessions you can travel on your own and pay it on your credit card.Apparently he needs to book it as he needs to put in his staff number and password.Normally return flights are £30,98 for a confirmed return seat but it depends on the day and flight.Heard aswell that they will give up 50% of their unsold seats for staff travel six hours before depature.Good luck and soon you would be a ezy frequent flyer

easyjet staff travel

thanks for your reply.
i did not paint the true picture in original post (sorry). my partner will be employed as ground staff by the big orange handling company. does anyone know if the same rules apply. he has been advised that he should be entitled to normal easyjet staff travel. we understood that this was with immediate effect but now understand only applies after 3 months service.
can anyone shed any light on this for me.

thanks in advance.

It might be best if your other half asks someone who is already working for the Big Orange Handleing company as they are a seperate entity to easyJet.com. Us Cabin Crew folks probably won't be aware of the T&C's for that subsidiary company
