Jetstar Recruitment - March?

Hi Everyone,

Heard that interviews were on next week in Sydney? Anyone had a call/email. Which day will you be going? And any idea what bases are being recruited for?

Any Info appreciated...

Question Recruitment Day Info Please

Hi Team,

This may be slightly far fetched, but worth a try for a good buddy.

I have a friend who is currently overseas who rather unfortunately missed her attendance at the 6th March Jetstar Cabin Crew Recruitment Day in Sydney. She received an email from Jetstar asking her to attend only several days prior.

Can anyone shed any light as to how she may be able to get information re someone to contact at Jetstar regarding her absence? Any Jetstar contacts out there?

Also, is there any way to get any information regarding what was shared on the day and/or if any interview dates were set up for prospective Crew? I'm presuming recruit days are more 'info-based' days rather than 'sign on the dotted line', although maybe you can share info otherwise?

Is the recruitment selection normally just taken via sites like 'StaffCV' etc, and then for the majority of people, it all comes down to pot luck??

Any further info to pass on re the 6Mar Syd JQ recruit day would be great. I'd love to get in contact with someone who may have attended. I know I'd certainly hate to be overseas missing out on a local opportunity as such. Bummer

Cheers
amsy

Welcome to the last minute recruitment of Jetstar

I was offered a job Friday 4.30pm for a Monday start.
The recruitment process is pretty much the same.

Not sure what to do but maybe contact HR in Mel......
Or just reply to the email that was sent to you ???

Worth a try

Many years ago I was overseas when I received an invite from Virgin Blue. I was unable to make it and sent an email saying as much. I received the usual 'we're sorry you cant attend' reply. About 2 weeks after I got back in the country I was invited to another seminar. I think I was just lucky that they were running another seminar then, and it would depend on whether Jetstar is going to run another one after your friend returns.
