Snoop BMED AMM-LHR 5/6march

Hi guys......
anybody here who will fly on that route on the 5th or 6th of march? (I still don't know when to come back-flights are pretty full!!). Guys I will be the one with the big chocolate box!!! (for you as usual )

Also I would like to say thank you to the BMED crew who flew me safely here to Amman on the 1st of March.
It's so rare to see such a light load on this route, and the flight was so quick I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the speed of the tailwind!!!
Thank you and I hope you're having a great trip!! I think as usual I am putting on too much weight with all this yummy food.

Maa salama!!

Thank you!!

I always buy chocolate for the crew because I love when other staff passengers do it to me. At LGW it's something that happens very often. We look after each other.

Just for the record, I am now back and decided to catch the Royal Jordanian flight this morning. Better flight times for a start. I have to say, fabulous crew, and they were soooooooooo pleased with the chocolate they always had a smile for me. Typical Jordanian attitude......marvellous. And again, no, I didn't want an upgrade and neither did I need one as the A340 was 3/4 empty and we all had LOTS of room to spread out!!!

Mr/Ms Despatch I don't understand the reason of this attitude of yours, really!! Assuming isn't always a good thing!
I am one of those people who is GRATEFUL just to get on.....and neither I EVER expect anything from the cabin crew (I even carry my own water, not matter how long the flight is, so that I don't have to bother anyone), nor I "buy" crew with chocolate. PLEASE do not spoil something that for us (I speak for LGW anyway) is a sign of friendliness and in particular for me means "I know it's a long day, I hope this makes it better for you".
Those who know me know what I mean!!

Take care and why not adding a bit of sugar to your tea tomorrow morning............

Same here flybywire
We know how stressful it can be to fly on std by tickets, and it is nice to look after each other. I always try to get an upgrade for collegues, even other airlines'.
BTW, Just flew there and back EDI (4 sectors, via LHR), and boy, BA CC (and check in staff I must say) are GOOD! Friendly, efficient -well- professional!
I was really impressed in particular by how they carried out a full service with hot meal on a 1 hour flight, finding the time to do a second passage of hot drinks in a full A320 And all that with perfect courtesy and a smile.

Hi Barcli!!! Thank you for your kind offer even if I wasn't there!!

The only reason why I flew with RJ was that not only the departure time was a better one (11:00LT as opposed to 07:05LT) but when I went to Abdali to the RJ headquarters the day before to list myself (RJ was my back-up option) for the following day, they said the flight was empty and changed my reservation from RR1 (standby) to OK so I knew I would get on for sure! So it was actually easier for me not to get up at 4 and take it easy, drive to the airport knowing I had a seat for sure! I had 4 seats for myself on their new A340 and couldn't be any happier!! They appreciated the Ferrero Rochers I bought them too and even offered me one

Nothing wrong with BMED it was just a series of things that made me fly with RJ, but I would have loved to have met you and maybe have a bit of pprune chat as well

FBW

PS: Flyblue if you ever fly with us, let me know and I'll arrange a special chocolate box for you to be delivered on boarding!!

I to buy choc's for the crew too, but at the same time LGW vs LHR .... LHR everytime!

Keep the crew happy....BUY CHOCOLATES!!!!
