Virgin 043 and 044

Went out to vegas on vs043 4th of Jan and back on vs044 on 9th of Jan. I'm normally a BA regular but do the the CES show in Vegas once a year and Virgin are the only direct operater from the south east. I just wanted to make a quick post complimenting the crews on these two flights, they were the hardest working that I've seen anywhere and after two bad experiences this time last year, these two crews have regained my respect for Virgin Atlantic - you are all a credit to your company and I thank you. Kudos also to the pilot flying approach back into Gatwick who after a little wobble on approach pulled off an absolute greaser of a landing.

Thanks Tony, although I was not working those particular flights I assure you crew the world over appreciate it when pax realise just how hard we do work (sometimes )... one of the nicest things you can do is thank the crew for a great flight (assuming of course it was a great flight) as you get off the a/c (or even before then!) - funnily enough, we really do appreciate it

Re: Virgin 043 and 044

Hi Tony
Have you thought about writing or e-mailing Virgin with your comments? It is a sad fact that most people will only write to a company to complain but never to pass on compliments!

A man recently complimented me on a job well done after his wife was poorly on the flight and I had to administer first aid to her. I plucked up the courage to ask him if he would mind putting it in writing and he was only too happy to oblige there and then! Unfortunately we rely solely on appraisals for promotion prospects at VA so sometimes we have to stick our necks out a bit!

Any letters of praise would go down on the records of the crew concerned and I'm sure they would appreciate it!

KTP xx

funnily enough, I've sent a copy of the post to Virgin customer services at the same time that this appeared but wanted to do something public in case the airline didn't pass it on.
