Right...
I tried to find the other BIG thread about EY but with no joy - maybe I need glasses!
This is the situation. I applied for the job as CC with EY last june. Yesterday they called my house when I was away for an interview (in London, 22nd October).
The porblem is that I am at work that day and cannot possibly attend. I would like to call them back and try to find a suitable date, but that
of my housemate forgot to ask their name/tel. number. The only thing he took is the Hotel number where they'll be holding the interviews, but that is of no use, really.
Anybody has a clue of who I can contact?
Anybody has the recruitment team tel. numbers?
Any help is much appreciated.

flyblue I think some of the topics disappeared because the original posters deleted their topics... there were a few people that didn't want to see other points of view.. seems EY can't be mentioned without someone mentioning all the "galley gossip" as well....
it'd be great to get some information and FACTS for once....!

well i say come here and try it out for yourself and see if you like it
some have come and gone within weeks, some have stayed for 1 month, some stay for 2 months, and some are leaving as we speak. Yet there are others who have been here from day one, and love it.
its not for everyone, but give it a go if you really want to fly, or you want to try flying in the middle east
thats all im prepared to say on a public forum

Ah you know what I seem to recall copying down that one big EY thread... if I find it on my PC (hmm bit chancey given the amount of junk on this thing....!
) I'll post it for you all.....
Flybywire, I've got my fingers x'ed for you being able to swing the interview date - I'm sure they'll understand as you are travelling all over the place....

I know that who tried to call me was here in London, so I will try the tel # that BrakesOff gave me (thanks mate!!) and possibly they will be kind enough to redirect me to the correct office.
I feel a bit nervous but I guess it's normal!
As for the BIG EY thread, cannot find it. I only found some "smaller" ones but didn't find any suitable information in there. Therefore I wrote here!! I remember big arguments going on...maybe, as you said, that's why they have disappeared

FBW, yes it got quite ridiculous/funny - some of the rubbish being posted.
I got accused of being (of all things!) an EY management plant on this forum, to "lie to and lure" all the "young people" to come work for EY.... hahaha boy did that one give me a laugh...
and of course the toilet humour of some individuals got an airing.... perhaps it's better you started a new thread after all!!!
As for the big thread, it wouldn't surprise me if the original poster (if it is who I think it was) deleted it...
Just a pity that some of the (few) useful comments made by some of the new recruits are lost with it.....

I was also trying to find more info on EY on pprune, but no luck
Somehow, most of the topics placed about EY lost their meaning after some time, and instead of being informative (like EK topics) they became gathering place of all kind of rubbish.
I do not intend to insult anybody, but that's what happened, so people just deleted their posts....
I think it's time to have normal (as much as it can be) EY topic, where people will discuss things about this airline, exchange experiences and give advice.
So, I'm calling all people who work / trying to work for EY to share their experience.
I'm joining EY in november

Well, folks,
heard that EY has a 'recruitment sesion' in London at the end of this week.
But somehow, their HR-section for CC recruitment run by a newly employed Ex-EK-Nogooder got their knickers in a twist.
In case you are REALLY interested in working for EY, give them a call at Abu Dhabi and ask to be connected to the Cabin Crew Manager to find out details.
Having flown with them a couple of times as full fare paying passenger, they don't seem - contrary to some previous posts here - to have such a bad product. Still some 'teething problems' I would say, but better than EK, LH, KL, AF, and LX I have used previously to get to the UAE.
Cheers....and good luck!

I heard the interview is scheduled for this Saturday (22.10.2005) in Park Inn Hotel on Heathrow (or something like that
).
My advice to u all is to phone the HR department in AUH and ask for CC recruitment and ask for details.
Good luck !!!

Hmmmm.....
Good luck to everyone applying.
I have to agree with A330 habib, come see for yourself what it is like. Me personally, im loving it. EY does have 'teething' problems but its working on them.
I hope this thread continues to be a place for those interested to find some proper info on EY and not turn into trashy gossip.

Hey girls & boys,
just to let you know, EY is having an assesment day in Frankfurt, Germany, 06.11.2005, 08:30 sharp, Sheraton Hotel. They are already calling people. If you want to speed up the process, call (+00 971 2505 80 80, ask for CabinCrew department) the HR office in AUH and schedule an interview in FRA as they do not accept walk-ins at all!!!
Good luck!!!

So far I have seen that EY has rather strange way of recruitment.
I mean, they do not post on their website locations they will visit, but just call out people from certain cities they will come to, and than they make selection process. In fact, "open day" doesn't exist in EY, only scheduled interviews.
Anyway, Ranjha83, the best way is to call thier HR center and ask.

Ranjha83 I heard that they were not going to recruit from Oz again because so many of the "Boo Hoo.This isn't the same as Ansett/Virgin/Qantas" people resigned.
But then I could write a book on Etihad rumours I have heard so who knows.
