Question Brit chick wanting to work in usa

Does anyone know if any American airlines (either private or not) employ british cabin crew?

Or is it a green card thing?

Thanks in advance for any info

As far as I'm aware, the airlines in the States are very, very much seniority driven. Going in as a newbie will see you on "reserve" for many, many months - even years - before getting a proper, published roster.

Once you're off reserve, you'll likely find yourself operating on poor routes and not getting to enjoy the best of the US. You might see yourself doing nothing but commuter routes, like CLE-ORD or DTW-JFK for example. Might be a while until you see the likes of The Caribbean, Puerto Rico and other more exotic destinations.

What about foreign flight crew to the USA?
If you are a fresh ATP what are your chances of getting employment, with reasons, in the US ?
