Maidenbower is the most popular area. " 2 bed flats sell for between £160 and £170,000. Rental of £700- £800 per month. Situated 10 mins from airport.

Crawley is nothing special, but has everything that you would need and is getting better all the time!!.

Can you commute?

Hello everyone,
I live near birmingham and i am currently looking to apply for another long-haul airline based at LGW. Do you think i would be able to commute this distance (about 2 and a half hrs drive) or is better to move closer to the airport? Do most crew move to the area or do they commute? Any help would be much appreciated. Thankyou.

Brighton/Hove is very popular with LGW based staff, only 20-30 minutes away by car with direct trains to LGW too. Also, I leave near LHR and I make the drive in about 40-60 mins which yes is a bit extreem but there is also a bus service which operated from LHR to LGW every 15 minutes!
