The wages depend on how much you work. I have found that tax has eaten up a lot of my wages.

I have been to the golden temple in amritsar about 7/8 times

Definately go and see it if you can. Do it at day time and night time. Night time is brilliant.

Not slagging FJE off but after you have seen the golden temple day and night gone on a trip to taj mahal, dehli, himalaya's changing of the guard on pakistan border after you have done that there is f*ck all else left to do in Armpit-sar.
7/8 trips to golden temple just proves how $hit boring the place
is.

Totally agree, a trip is what you make it. Yes, sometimes you have a trip thats not great but if you dont try you`ll never enjoy them!

Money is good, especially compared to some other airlines. Commission isnt great but hey, cant complain when you`re getting week trips.

New routes wont all be bullets, maybe some will be or will go to bullets after a while if tour operator wants more flights a week. Whether they`re bullets or not will be going to some fab new places. Cant wait!

Talking

So how often do you guys fly?

I'm starting my training next monday. Are they a good company to work for, the crew on the interview day all seemed really relaxed and down to earth.

Amazed that you are getting excited at going to Sierra Leone - the place is very poor and is still trying to rebuild itself after a long civil war!

Enjoy your Freetown nightstops!

Cool sierra leone

upandup,

regarding the Sierra Leone, i have done several trips there ,its true it is an extremely poor country, there are a lots of good places to eat though..Alexs Bar for one the owner is British and loves when the crew go there, food is very cheap and drink!! your going in the start of the wet season . there are several beaches there that are fab ....but do beware its no place to wander round at night ...i have also done Accra trips and found the standards there alot higher than the FNA.

Anyway enjoy your trip:

Bright star so why are the standards better in Accra than FNA any hints would be appreciated.
I found the standards in the Accra hotel (Golden Tulip) better than Amritsar hotel ($hitz plaza), so FNA is going to be on a par with Amritsar - $HIT in other words, cant wait!! Beaches sound good tho!!

FNA

Fuel crossfeed,
I personally have never been to the Golden Tulip,i stayed in another hotel, but some of our crew have, they said its was to a good standard, but compared to FNA and the accomo over there Accra is more up tp date,,cleaner for a start.. they even have street lights over there, which makes a change for in FNA if its not tied down they take it,our crew were moved out of the original accomo in FNA as we were constantly geting harassed, the locals were knocking on our doors trying to sell us stuff, harassing the male crew(if you know what i mean!!!) and they dont like no for an answer, calling our rooms at all hours, which is a breach in security for one,and it wasnt a one of incident this went on all the time, also the problems with the local hovercraft, most times it didnt work and if it did you could wait around for up to 2 and half hours to finally get on it and after doing a 6 hour flight you just went to get to your hotel, the hovercraft waits until the last person has basically left the airport before it will depart,

The best beaches in FNA are beach no.2 thats what they call it,you can have seafood there to order and extremely cheap, its fairly quiet during the week but at the weekends its very different,...also wouldnt use the local taxis makes del trotters van look like a limo, and there known for ripping you off, but to be fair you do get that in alot of places, but yeh i did get my eyes opened to it all ,i went there in total about 20 times last year and havent been back since March this year so things might have changed ...Doubt it though, but known what crew are like we ALL know how to make the best out of a bad situation.. so enjoy your trip.
