Thai Crew..Us Visas

Possibly to do JFK shuttles during northern winter.
I thought that the US would not grant US visas to Thai nationals.
The reason they don't already fly there.

guys .guys, guys,
when are you going to learn not to listen to what the Kiwi and sawasdee kruuuuuppp base f/a's tell you.,
They know how to pull the strings!
They know exactly what to say to us to get us agitated!!
when you hear something strange reply back with your own BS, see how quickly they shut up! it works really well for me!

The predicted downfall will have consequences for us all.
there is just no end to the greed of QF manangement!
line their pockets with more and more bonuses,
This time at the carve up of Australian Airlines.
I wonder how much extra in "bonus" dickson will get when AO is sliced up!
In the meantime AO crew continue to save costs so geoff and leslie can line their pockets, and of course so they can send money to the australian business council.
Think about that next time you doing a "cost saving " act!

After all these years of threats and cost cuts I have adopted a system of my own. As nobody in middle management wants to take any responsibility for anything, aside from the safety aspect of my job this is way I also function.

During our EBA functions of our job we performed we were told it was not in our job description to do these functions. While these things we did helped maximise cargo uplift, if it is not in my job description why should I do it. Nobody higher than me seems to care about so why should I worry about it.

Before our EBA morale in our section was about middle of the road, after it it went lower. Now I still pass on recurring problems and suggested fixes but I only do this once, I won't repeat it because if they didn't listen the first time f*** em.

The job I do could be sent off shore and from what I have seen at QF it does not matter what you do or how cheap you do it they will still contract out your job. As a worker you have no say in this and the company will do as they please as they insist they want to be remembered as only The Spirit of what was once Australian.

Until I notice a real change in middle management and Dicko and co's attitude to everyone this is how I will work.

I agree with you 100% rammell,
I too used to give them 110% and even more, as I always beleived that I was paid to do a good job and I would do it.
However now I only do what is required and nothing more.
If an inseat video breaks down, I simply move the pax, if there is no seat available then I put on that "sorry " face, Once I used to rip up the seat have a look , try this and try that, now as far as im concerned its engeneering!.
same goes when the seat is (us) I dont even bother to lift the seat cover, SOrry not in my job description!
When we run out of meal choices, I used to show real concern! now I use that "sorry " face
and the list goes on and on.
Do you think I might be a little bit "disengaged"

Please dont think I dont feel sorry for the pax, I do! but then remember they are also the ones that want these low prices, and they are the "driving force".
