hi everyone! bit of an update since i havent been here in the longest time starting to miss the place! Been at AirNZ for 2 and a bit weeks now. Loving it of course!! Its so so finally be a part of it all and get to be apart of the buzz of the airport everyday.
im still in training for another week and a bit before i go live on the floor. Eveyone in my group is wonderful, and the trainer are so friendly!!! Im so much happier now that im in this job.

Well done Moxie.
By now your head will be full of keystrokes and you think you will remember nothing. Of course you will and then you will be into the swing of it no problems.
I have just applied for CC for Freedom and hopefully they will phone me for the first stage interview. Of course this might not happen for 10 years or so..LOL

yes my head is full of info,, see to be going over it in my sleep. been at checkin most days this week, and loving the hands on pracs, but get frustrated with myself when i cant seem to remember something we have gone over in the training room!

From what I understand they are being put back until next year as there is a bit of swapping around with full time SH moving into either Freedom or LH.
I believe the issue is that SH has just hired many CC on temp contracts.
Someone may know better than me, but the rumour mill just states sometime next year.
To date, I have not heard back from Freedom and can only assume no news is good news. Has anyone out there any news on the Freedom recruitment?

Just curious if anyone knows when AirNz may start recruitment/interviewing for 2006. Have had an application in since Jul 05. Any feedback would be appreciated.I believe they will need more crew as the 777's arrive?

i think they over hired at the last interviews and still have some to put through the training so i would imagine it wouldnt be any time too soon.
