Question eye sight regulations for cabin crew

does anyone know the minium eye sight requirement?
in fractions? for becoming a FA?

Is it standard across the board or does it differ between airlines?
Just got a letter back from one of the airlines I applied for and they turned me down due to the fact I wear contacts.

Iīve never heard earlier that you wouldnīt be allowed to wear contacts! I think the usual requirement for eye sight is +/-3 without correction , but some airlines allow even -5. Some donīt want you to wear glasses when on duty, but contacts are ok.

thanks for the reply NordicJetSet
i dont think the fact that i wear contacts was the problem, i think its my unaided vision that they consider a concern.

unaided im -2.75 and -3.25 so maybe sice ones over -3 then they couldn't take my application any futhuer?

still gutting tho
