THOMAS COOK. Is this true???

Who could please confirm this rumour (?) i've heard few days ago?
Aparently, not all cabin crew who started last year (2004 new entrants) will be trained to operate on the A330. Some of them will but some of them won't?!

If this is true, I think this wouldnt be very fair for those who are not chosen to fly on the A330..... which means no trips to Cuba, Mexico, Dom. Republic, etc. Though I think they'll probably operate lots of Canadas on the 757 ETOPS.

Thanks

Obviously depends where you are based.
If your base doesn't have a long haul programme then you are not going to get any??

Certainly true in other charters.

No - this is not true. I have heard that A330 conversion courses are planned for the 2004 intake this April.
