hey there commander.. they do take male cabin crew. out of 19 candidates they took on my assessment, 6 of them were male. Not sure about them recruiting in India but if you're willing to travel you can attend any of their assessments in Europe, Australia or so.

We had one Korean girl flying to Europe and she got in!

GOOD LOOK

Hello everyone!
I really don know where to start, but lately I m so depressed. I have been waiting for a long time to get a call from Ek or Ey. Don know why I m not getting. Is that because I was working with Qa?
Is it true that they have an agreement with AAB?
Anyway,Congratulations to everyone who succeeded in EK or EY.

open day

as far as i know open day is jst as you say "walk in". Only then when u pass ur invited for a proper interview with invited candidates who were accepted through the online application process.

I highly recommend to put extra effort and fill up the online application and get the invitation. OPen day is usally one big mess when hundred and more ppl get into one room and play the games... etc.. Recruiters can hardly get to know you and its all matter of good luck. Plus ones u don get selecte ur banned from applying for next 6months.

SO think about it twice.

However if you do decide to go for the open day event make sure ur perfectly groomed. EY ppl stress on it. Ur hair and nails perfect and be confident but extreeeemly friendly..

good luck

Unhappy QR

Never mind guys we all have to put our QR days behind us,
It served a purpose.
And for some reason was our destiny.
Time to move on to EY insh'Alla! where the grass is definately greener!

Use above link to convert it to your home land currency.

Females Only

Are Etihad going down the Gulf path and only recruiting Females from Australia?? just had a look at careerone and seek (key word cabin crew) and it would appear that you need to be a female fashion designer... or a female greek waitress with Gulf Air.. oh gee great.. looks like the boys miss out again..

I might like to remind these companies with a letter to the EEO Board which is pointless cause they discriminate anyway.. that Australia has equal opportunity laws and their practise is illeagal in the modern civillised world..
