Skywest Cabin Crew -Educational Requirements

Hi,

I am wondering if any of you flying or who have flown for XR can tell me what they are looking for with regard to the education level for flight attendants.

To quote from their web site:

Successful completion of Year 12 - preferably with passes in Maths and English, or equivalent study
I studied a vocational course - I later found I COULD have had my Year 12 credits given to me at the end of year 11, except an admin error meant I wasn't 'qualified" to receive them.

I am curious as to what would pass for "equivalent study", and whether they would be satisfied if I could demonstrate that although I never officially finished Year 12 I have gained real-life experience relevant to the job. I always thought that experience is more important than education if it is the right type.

I really don't want to have to go back to school for a whole year, with my luck the hiring would stop just as i finished!!

(I have studied since I left school - in related subjects, also I have loads of CS experience in the past few years)

Any help/comments appreciated!
