Trolley Dollies.....

I hear that theres gonna be a new fly on the wall series kinda like ' Airline ' but featuring the staff and passengers of Excel Airways! Apparently filming is in full swing onboard the aircraft, in the offices, terminal and even following the crews on stopovers! I believe its only going to be shown on Sky (Living channel??) and will be entitled ' Trolly Dollies '.... Sounds kinda exciting.. can anyone share anymore info!!!! Sounds like fun.... Not sure about the title tho.....! hehehe!

Yep! U are correct....haven't seen any of the cameras myself yet (thank god) but it is apparantly due to air sometime in the spring. Not keen on the name either...but if its on "LivingTV" it needs something to catch peoples attention whilst flicking through the TV guide! Just hope it focuses on more than just pax moaning....not that we get any at XLA!!!

If I'm, crammed into a 31 by 17 inch box with the possibility that the bod in front will reduce my horizontal space considerably by reclining their seat then I am going to be vey upset by some TV ****** trying to glamourise the life of a Flight Attendant.

Work on making passengers more comfortable - not trying to increase the job applicatons by wouldbe crew.

Is it definately operated by Excel 767 or does My Travel use their Airbus 330-200/330-300? What are the IFE set ups on each airline?

Xeque!!!!

Just a reminder, you're are on an aircraft and not in a massive 5 star hotel. You need to realise that you're not the only passenger on the aircraft, therefore, you can't have a 3 metre by 3 metre space around you for comfort. If you want more space, book business or first, simple! Obviously people are interested in the job of Flight Attendant otherwise there wouldn't be a tv program on it. It is already a glamourised job, obviously not as much as it used to be, so i hardly think that is the total reason for them starting it!!!! Are you possibly one of these wannabe's????? Get over it!!!!

Xeque,

Try this- if the person in front reclines their seat, recline yours too. As if by magic, you have just regained that precious space you just lost!

What's that they say about pax leaving their brain behind in the airport terminal?

as i understand it this series was offered to a few companies. Excel accepted. 30 odd episodes of free publicity cant be a bad thing, warts an all.

excle were also the first it airline to go blue and white with .com on the sides now there all doing it. So next season maybe the other companies wont be so snobby.
