No You In Qantas

A new slogan regarding Qantas seems to have resonance with both Staff and Passengers alike:
THERE IS NO YOU IN QANTAS.
Perhaps the "Visitors"could use it in their 2005 add campaign.

Well captainrats

I have been with QF as cabin crew for longer than most .... QF has provided me with an income and lifestyle second to none .... The best times of my life have been in slip ports .... yeah things are getting tighter .... the way of the world...but when we have to compete with the others (government assistance, low cost carriers, etc etc etc) well, we as crew, and those as pax are still doing well compared to most ...

The only constant is change.

Those of us who are crew have the option .... accept it or resign.

Those of you who are pax.... fly with us or don't.

Either case, management does not care. The profits are great, their bonuses are great, they will be go gone soon.

There is no point whinging about QF, nothing that staff or customers say will change things ....

as pax or crew .... you choose to fly with them or not .... they care not .... why should YOU ?

It is a business, nothing more, nothing less and the decisions will be made with a business-focus.

So far, it is working well .... the most profitable airline per capita in the world.... no-one cares beyond that .... that is reality ... the aviation industry has changed for good.... go with it or leave it.

reality check guys ... the good ol days are over ... for both crew and pax .... its now just a bus service ..... we have to accept it or move on ...

I cannot understand crew taking on those attacking the service .... we only give out what we are given .... why waste time worrying about 'what we could have given' .... QF dont give a stuff, why should we ?

I am still in it, but so over it .... just do my job and go home ... the love for the company has well and truly gone .... sad --- we used to love our airline.

What took you (Galley_Gossiper)almost 20 lines to convey took Captainrats 4.He is right, there is no YOU in QANTAS...it has become souless.
APOLOGY AIRLINES is an excellent epithet. If they keep this up they won`t the most profitable airline as they will have no customers to generate revenue

Sorry to be pedantic again but why did you delete your original thread which had about 8 replies and re-post the same thing the very next morning?? What was wrong - did you not like the replies you got?

why deletion?

Most responses were off topic.Yours was about educating someone regarding the differerence between air services and aerial services.....not the point of the discussion.

No actually - my post was about what the 'a' in QANTAS stands for and as your original post mentioned the 'u' as well as the 'you' then it seemed entirely appropriate to correct the wrongful idea that it stood for air. I didn't know until recently that it was 'aerial' and I thought it was of interest to everybody as an aside and not at all detrimental to your thread.

Ok... Thanks. We've all got the point now. There is no u in Qantas. Very good. Clever stuff.

Now that the point has been made, the boredom level has ramped up and you've all started thumping each other again: Fascinating for those involved, but tedious for everyone else. Give us a Christmas break!
