Hi everyone. I've been reading some posts regarding various airlines and it seems every airline has it's pros and cons, however i would like to know what's the best one to work for, and the worst, and why?
Thanks in advance

Interesting you say British Midland.. i was thinking in aplying for it, but you do like 4 sectors a day isn`t it ?
About BA, they only accept candidates with at least 2 years of costumer service, something i dont have.

Qantas?
From what I understand Qantas used to be a fantastic place to work.Having been a guest of PPrune for along time, I recently joined and watched with some Interest the threads and forum relating to the london base.Things appear to have changed in recent years with the flying kangaroo.Morale seems to be quite low and the management remote and uncaring.Just an outsider looking in perspective.

From what i know & see Qantas crew still love their job and still do put in 110% into how they deliver what they do best, however it just seems to be management annoying and stuffing people around. As with all businesses, it's all come down to the dollar unfortunately. It's not the worst airline in the world to work for, far from it. However, this London base has annoyed quite a few people and put a few noses out of joint.

qantas london base
i dont really know the situation between qantas and the australian crew but as an applicant i really look forward to working for the london base (if i am sucessful) i have my 2nd interview on thurs and am both nervous and excited. i personally think that its a great oportunity for uk basd crew but like i said i dont know the whole story behind why the oz crew not happy.
do you think there will be any aminosity between the two sets of crew?
i dont want to transfer to qantas mainline in oz and understand that the chance to get to oz is virtually nil however if i wanted to go to oz it would be for a proper holiday and not a layover.
anyway ba citiexpress worst airline (company politics)

Ozcabin crew - 'annoyed' is an understatement if there ever was one!
Trolley_dolleyuk - You will not get to fly with Australian crew so there shouldn't be any aminosity. I believe each flight should have been crewed by mainly Australian's with a couple of English crew on board. But QF are greedy and don't want to pay for hotels in London for the Aussie crew. Its cheaper for them to overnight crew in Asia. QF mis-management don't care that Australians like to hear an Australian accent when they step onboard aircraft.
Of course there are a few crew re-locating from Oz to the UK for a 2 year contract but ultimately there will be a higher percentage of English crew onboard.
Good luck in your application, I think you should investigate why Australian crew aren't happy with the situation FYI. You can't change anything but good to know.
